Isolating and not providing drugs to residents was used to help eliminate chances of relapse and being self destructive. According to logs, one resident of claims the Vault fell into chaos after a stash of drugs was found hidden within the Vault. The fighting and killing was severe enough that is caused the residents to revert back to their former addictions.All of the residents soon after died in the aftermath of these events, leaving the Vault itself abandoned.
